New Plant-Based Menu Items

New Plant-Based Menu Items

There are many reasons why people choose not to eat animal products.

From a health perspective, some studies have indicated that a plant-based diet can reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes, heart disease and certain types of cancer. While eating more plant-based foods, like fruit, vegetables and wholegrain is good for heart health, it is not imperative to follow a vegan or vegetarian diet. That means meat and seafood don’t necessarily need to be off-limits as the nutritional benefits in animal proteins are well documented. And eating fish and seafood certainly has been found to lower the risks of heart disease.

Although the majority (76%) have been identified as omnivores, more than a quarter (26%) say they would like to reduce their consumption of animal products and eat more plant-based foods.

Sushi Hub always listens to its customers and always looks to provide the best quality products for them to enjoy. And it has done just that with the introduction of two more plant-based Maki Roll menu items, with the flavour of tuna and chicken joining its popular Teriyaki Beef Maki Roll.
