So close…almost…no! If you’ve ever played a claw machine, you’ve felt the rush of emotions when missing out on that elusive prize. It looks so easy, but being a claw machine pro takes skill…and just a little luck. We look at how the claw machine, crane game, UFO Catchers came into existence, their development over the decades and learn that the most successful player in Japan snared 3,500 teddy bears.

It was a big summer of tennis, culminating in the Australian Open, one of the four great Grand Slam tennis tournaments of the world, and Sushi Hub had a happy and exhilarating presence there. We share images of some of the top players who Sushi Hub supported centre court at what has become known as “The Happy Slam”.

Visitors to the Sydney Royal Easter Show and the Royal Melbourne Show may have encountered Sushi Hub’s playful, life size mascots, the Sushi Hubsters. Last year, they shrunk and became a set of collectable 5.5cm figures in celebration of Sushi Hub’s 18th Anniversary. Like any collectables, getting the ‘set’ often requires a degree of cunning. We check out a few ‘swap’ tactics that customers used. And we introduce two new members of the Sushi Hubster Family and ask you to name them.
